Founder Larry Akopyan is a multi-level trained and certified appraiser with more than 15 years in the insurance industry. His background spans mechanical and auto body repair, damage estimating, valuations, diminished value and insurance claims.

Can I dispute my insurance company’s total loss offer?
Yes. If the offer doesn’t reflect your vehicle’s actual cash value, an independent appraiser can document the true value with comparable vehicles, options and condition, and present it to the insurer. Many auto policies also include an appraisal clause for exactly this situation.
Does it matter if I was at fault?

What is a diminished value claim?
Even after quality repairs, a vehicle with an accident history is usually worth less on resale. A diminished value claim seeks compensation for that lost value, typically from the at-fault driver’s insurer.
